   On this expedition we will visit a number of islands, marine habitats, coral reef, blow holes, blue holes, and incredible isolated beaches. Includes 6 days kayaking with 5 nights camping under the stars, guided island to island sea kayak trip in the Exumas, first and last nights lodging, all meals on the water, beverages, boats, camping and snorkeling gear, and all internal transportation, services of Adventures in Florida staff.

12 WONDERS OF THE WEKIVA
   Only minutes from Orlando, this paddling trip is the most scenic in all of central Florida. Come enjoy a full day of clear running water, sand pine scrub, hammocks, pine flat woods, and black water swamps. This trip offers a great opportunity to observe alligators, the rare black bear, and numerous wading birds all from the safety of your kayak. A light lunch is provided picnic style, riverside.

19-25 THE MAGIC OF CENTRAL FLORIDA  (FULL) **
   Spend a week discovering central Florida's amazing springs, rivers, and coastline. Each day will be spent paddling a new location. Every evening we return to our private guesthouse on an 800+ acre working cattle farm on the banks of the Econlockhatchee River.

12-18   FLORIDA'S GREATEST RIVERS,SPRINGS, AND SWAMPS (FULL)
     Located in the heart of North Florida’s vast forests lies hundreds of large magnitude crystalline springs that feed several outstanding rivers and waterways including the Santa Fe, Suwannee, Ichetucknee, and the Northern Withlacoochee. These springs were featured in National Geographic Magazine in March of 1999. Our lodge is located at the confluence of the Suwannee and Northern Withlacoochee Rivers. Over the course of the week we will paddle several scenic rivers, go tubing down a spring run, snorkel a host of large springs, and explore an area of Florida rich in history, culture, and unbridled beauty.

7-13   SUWANNEE RIVER WILDERNESS
   The Suwannee River is 207 miles in length in Florida; 280 miles long when including Big Alligator Creek in Georgia, which is a headwater tributary to the Suwannee. The river proper begins in the Okefenokee Swamp, a vast wetland wilderness in southeast Georgia and northeast Florida, and enters the Gulf of Mexico north of the fishing village of Cedar Key. The white sugar sand riverbanks, with their sun-bleached fossilized coral bluffs, is in sharp contrast to the dark tannic water. The miles of unbridled beauty make this river so enjoyable to paddle.

   North Arkansas' Buffalo River, the country's first national river, is roughly 150 miles long, and includes nearly 95,000 acres of public land along its corridor. It has been the topic of a full-length book, the subject of a National Geographic feature article, and the cornerstone for the state's environmental movement.

   Deep in the soul of the southern Appalachians lies the land of the Cherokee, the land where gold was first discovered in the United States, the land were Moonshiners battled the Revenuers and a land where the people are as rugged and beautiful as the mountains they call home.

18-25 Lewis and Clarks upper Missouri River
The Missouri River is the longest river in North America, and one of the longest in the world, even though its lower section is named the Mississippi. The Upper Missouri National Wild and Scenic River flows east for some 150 miles through some of the wildest, loneliest, and most historically significant stretches of open space in the lower 48. This desolate and fissured landscape is known as the Missouri Breaks. Meriwether Lewis called this country "scenes of visionary enchantment"—an appraisal that still holds true today.

SEPTEMBER 2012

Aug 31-Sept 10 Floating Utah's Green River, Canyonlands N.P
     This 120-mile section of the Green River is one of the most spectacular flat-water paddles in the country. Mile after mile of ever deepening canyons brimming with yellows, reds, greys and whites. The area was first explored by John Wesley Powell in the late 1800's. The area is rich in geologic as well as historical sites to visit. In many spots the canyon walls will rise above the water to over a 1000 feet.

15-21   Mothership Kayaking on Lake Powell
   Enjoy a week paddling the highlights of a desert wonderland all the while enjoying the creature comforts of a fully equipped 53" Houseboat. Dinners each night are themed and served topside.

28 - Jan 5 NEW YEARS EVERGLADES CELEBRATION
   At the southernmost corner of the eastern United States, stands a rare natural marvel: the Everglades, a wonderful land of endless horizons, an eternity of glittering water and waving grasses, an infinity of life-forms in miniature, all interrelated worlds. A million and a half acres of sub-tropical wilderness found nowhere else in the world. Comprised of low islands (keys) in Florida Bay to tangled mangrove swamps, flat saw-grass prairies, pinewoods, and tropical hammocks. The Everglades is the third largest national park in the U.S and none of the land stands over ten feet above sea level.
